EDC BENEFICIARIES
VIDOL joins the Economic Development Authority (EDA) to support new, renewing or modification orientation sessions. There are specific areas of the issued certificate for which VIDOL has oversight and the beneficiary had the opportunity to receive answers to questions or clarification when necessary as it pertains to responsibility of a beneficiary.
Scheduling of the orientation is done by the EDC and your assigned Compliance Officer. VIDOL’s Compliance Unit is notified and appears virtually to the session.
REQUIRED QUARTERLY DOCUMENTS
Employers are required to submit quarterly Workforce and VIESA reporting to VIDOL’s Compliance Unit thirty days (30) at the conclusion of the quarter.
VIDOL requires the following documents to be submitted to ensure compliance:
Used to show how many of the company workers are residents and non-residents.
Used to file unemployment insurance quarterly wage and hour contributions.
VIESA Payment/Check Copy
Payroll disbursement report is acceptable
Used to notify Unemployment Insurance of changes in legal form, closing of operations, transfers, or locale of operations.
1st Quarter Requirement - Annual Contribution
Due on or before January 31st of each calendar year pursuant to Act No. 7301
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The copy of your payment sent with the Employer Wage and Contribution Report is important to the review process. We compare the payment amount to the Net Remittance line (Line 14) on the report. If for some reason the payment does not match, the re-calculation of the report is conducted. The following proof of payment types are acceptable:
- VIESA Check Copy or Remittance confirmation (stamped copy from the Cashier)
- Copy of disbursement report
- ADP – Statement of Tax and Filings
- State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) Report– SUI report line
- The payment copy must match the quarter being reviewed or explain the difference in payment or non-payment.

Annual Contribution checks are made payable to VIDOL. Address the envelope to the Business & Administration Unit for handling. Payments are due in the first quarter of each calendar year. Please remit on or before January 31st of each calendar year to avoid delinquent notifications and interest charges.
